Nicholas Lepre grew up in Warwick, Rhode Island and studied writing and literature at Emmanuel College and Grub Street. He lives in Somerville, Massachusetts and works in IT.  His hobbies include listening to records and podcasts and watching the NBA.

His short stories have appeared or are forthcoming in The Threepenny Review, Alaska Quarterly Review, UpstreetThe Minnesota ReviewBayou Magazine  and elsewhere. Nicholas was a winner in the 2015  Blue Mesa Review summer writing contest, and he recently completed a novel-in-stories called Pretend You’re Really Here.
